Are you looking for amazing (say: instagramable) places in Switzerland to visit in June? Enjoy his little choice of photos which were made in Switzerland June 2016 and 2017. Find all locations on the map and use the route planner to get there.
June is among the best times to take amazing pictures in Switzerland. However you should be ready to get up really (really) early in the mornings or use late afternoons. This will offer the best results as light can get harsh during the days.
Kissing rocks, Bregaglia
With love from Bregaglia, made in June 2017. The rumantsch-speaking valley in the south of Graubünden (Grisons) is a bit far off for most of us, but always worth a visit. Don’t miss the kissing rocks in Stampa, click on the route planner to get to the exact place. For more amazing Swiss roads click here.
Val Fex, Engadin
Val Fex will still welcome you with snow-topped mountains. Just like other amazing places in Engadin.
This was one of the lesser known places until last year’s Instameet in June by Unesco World Heritage Switzerland last year. In such valleys there’s need to get up too early in order to get the best light. This photo was made at around noon.
This 2-hour hike is a bit strenuous, but worth it all when you arrive at the lake.
Rütliwiese, Lake Lucerne
The place where Switzerland was founded some 730 years ago. Best time to visit is in June before the crowds.
Take the cabriolet all the way up to Stanserhorn. Best light on late afternoons. Here is another view from Stanserhorn made in June:
Summer is in the air. Vineyards above Lac Léman.
